The West is being portrayed by some as becoming a wasteland.

Truth is we have an abundance of trees and wildlife, including predators and a healthy supply of forage for both wildlife and domestic stock. The West is very much alive.

Thanks to Rep. Greg Walden, R-Hood River, Ore., and Rep. Richard Pombo, R-Tracy, Calif., for trying to put some common sense into the Endangered Species Act and removing some of the socialist agendas.
