Steelhead swim up to 900 miles from the ocean to the headwaters. SALMON/STEELHEAD

Cowlitz River -- 24 bank anglers kept 2 steelhead. 3 boat anglers kept 1 steelhead.

During five days of operations at the Cowlitz Salmon Hatchery separator, last week Tacoma Power recovered:

During the past week Tacoma Power employees released: River flows at Mayfield Dam are approximately 6,260 cubic feet per second on Monday, February 9.

Bonneville and John Day pools -- No effort was observed for salmonids.

The Dalles Pool -- Boat anglers are catching some steelhead though all of the fish sampled were wild and had to be released.
