Fishery reports

STURGEON

Buoy 10 upstream to Bonneville Dam -- Catch and release only. Fishing for sturgeon at night is closed.

The Bonneville Pool -- Catch and release only. Fishing for sturgeon at night is closed.

The Dalles Pool -- Effective through Feb. 28, open Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays only for retention of sturgeon between 43 and 53-inches fork length. Catch and release on other days. Fishing for sturgeon at night is closed. Estimated harvest 85; percent of guidline 44.7.

John Day Pool -- Open 7 days a week for retention of sturgeon between 43 and 53 inches fork length until annual has been met. Fishing for sturgeon at night is closed. Estimated harvest 15; percent of guidline 14.3.

WALLEYE

Bonneville Pool -- No report.

The Dalles Pool -- One bank angler had no catch; five boats/nine rods kept four walleye.

John Day Pool -- Five bank anglers had no catch; 33 boats/67 rods kept 76 walleye and released six walleye.

SALMON/STEELHEAD

Cowlitz River – Interstate 5 Bridge downstream -- 18 bank rods released one steelhead.

Above the I-5 Bridge -- 13 bank rods released one steelhead; four boats/14 rods kept one steelhead.
