Little Goose Dam Lock Closed Wednesday by Staff Walla-Walla Union Bulletin, January 16, 2018

STARBUCK -- The navigation lock at Little Goose Dam near Starbuck will be closed to all vessels from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The closure is due to divers working on the dam's trash shear boom near the lock, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials said.

Corps staff have coordinated with commercial navigators to minimize shipping impacts. Public notices and other navigation lock information are available on the Walla Walla District website.
