Hole in the Net

(Kirk Lyttle) Fishing in emptiness While I am not much of a fisherman, I am an entrepreneur and have a keen eye for economic opportunities.

After doing some research, I kept coming across information that showed that the installation of dams marked a severe decline of migrating salmon populations. Nowhere is this relationship more apparent than the near-extinction of salmon on the Snake River and the installation of the four lower Snake River dams.

By not considering dam removal on the lower Snake River, the federal government is wasting our time and our money. Fishermen spend millions of dollars and every year that we restrict these sportsmen from their hobby, with little to show for their patience, is a wasted opportunity to gain valuable revenue.

Let's let our elected officials know we cannot let the big one, and I mean economic opportunity, get away.
