Deluxe River Cruise Ship Will Sail Seven-Night Voyages on the Columbia and SEATTLE -- Majestic America Line, the largest river and coastal cruising company in America, today announced that the most recent addition to its fleet, the 150 guest Columbia Queen, will join the Queen of the West exploring the history-rich, breathtaking natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest's mighty Columbia, Snake and Willamette rivers. The ship's 26 departures in 2007 will effectively double Majestic America Line's capacity on the three great rivers of the lush Pacific Northwest from late April through October, allowing more travelers than ever before to retrace the steps of Lewis and Clark along the waterways that led early travelers out West.

The seventh ship to join Majestic America Line's fleet of U.S. flagged river and coastal cruise ships, the Columbia Queen's 75 staterooms -- many of which feature private verandahs -- will provide an intimate, casual cruise experience for its guests. Each stateroom, including the Columbia Queen's four suites, features every modern amenity to ensure guests' comfort throughout their journey.

The ship's spacious public areas include the Astoria Dining Room, which features glistening crystal chandeliers against a unique stamped tin ceiling, the rustic Explorer Bar, the scenic Back Porch and the convivial Lewis and Clark Lounge. The Columbia Queen will join her sister ship, the Queen of the West, on the Columbia, Snake and Willamette rivers, operating seven-night cruises departing each Saturday, April 28 through October 20, 2007. The thoughtfully planned, seven-night itinerary explores more than 1,000 miles along all three rivers.
