The Nov. 16 front-page news "Report: Breaching dams would save money, salmon" offers both hope and a plan for salmon recovery from the brink of extinction. In this article, governor-elect Butch Otter uses a typical diversion tactic in his comments. Otter expresses concern for the logging and mining industries but not the fishing industry. The article is about the lagging fishing industry, not the logging and mining industries. Apparently Otter does not belong to REP America (Republicans for Environmental Protection).
