Departing from Portland, Oregon, a city with a reputation for its green untouched beauty, the cruise visits Klickatat Dock, then onto Pendelton, Oregon, the centre of the 'Wild West'. Here you can learn about American Indian culture and visit some of the saloons that are entrenched in America's history. The Queen of the West will then transport you to Clarkston, Washington, the gateway to Hells Canyon, North America's deepest gorge. While here you can take a guided jet boat ride, an exciting way to experience the untamed waterway that is Hells Canyon. Next stop is the small town of Longview, Washington, and the site of the 1980 Mount St Helens volcano eruption. Before returning to Portland, the cruise visits Astoria, Oregon, a city with a reputation as a romantic get-a-way, it showcases the best of Victorian architecture and is surrounded by unspoiled evergreens.

The Queen of the West is propelled by a three storey high paddlewheel, and accommodates a comfortable 142 guests.
