Palouse Conservation District to Host
Restoration Event for Killer Whales

by Staff
Moscow-Pullman Daily News, November 9, 2018

Chinook salmon spawn every year in Idaho, but the numbers have declined in recent decades. The Palouse Conservation District will host a restoration event 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday addressing the primary causes of orca whale decline.

The event will focus on stream restoration planting along Paradise Creek to address water quality issues.

Participants will meet at the PCD office in Suite H of the WSU Technology Park, 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., and then will travel to the site.

Participants are encouraged to bring water and dress appropriately for the weather.
