I am outraged at the full-page ad paid for by the Pulp and Paperworkers Council (Potlatch in disguise) touting the 98 percent salmon salmon barging success. Maybe below the four lower Snake River dams, but not above them. Idaho Fish & Game figures show 90 percent decline since barging began, and our salmon continue to move closer to extinction. Potlatch is only interested in hiding 40 million gallons of daily toxic discharge into the river, not saving fish.
