Portland's penchant for protests moved from its streets Friday evening to its river Saturday.
An estimated 300 people took to the Willamette River in a welcome morning breeze, then rallied in Willamette Park to challenge the continued operation of four lower Snake River dams they (and scientists) say pose a threat to endangered salmon and steelhead.
